Residents’ ceilings are broken, thieves in Limo Depok take away cars with IDR 4 million in cash

The theft incident occurred in Limo, Depok , West Java. The thief acted by breaking through the ceiling of a resident’s house.
“Yes, the thief broke into the ceiling of the victim’s house,” said Depok Metro Police Public Relations Head Inspector Made Budi when asked for confirmation, Friday (8/3/2024).

“At around 21.10 WIB, the victim came home from work. At that time the victim saw that the house had no lights and the car that had previously been parked in the house was gone,” said Made.

The victim then contacted his wife who admitted that she had left the house and gone to church with her child at 17.30 WIB. After checking, the car keys and Rp. 4 million kept in the room were gone.

“Then the victim checked the side door of the house and found that the door was open. Then the victim entered the house and found that the car keys were gone,” he said.

“The room was already in disarray and, after checking, it turned out that the Rp. 4 million which had previously been kept in the bedroom drawer was either missing or missing,” he added.

The victim suffered losses in the form of the loss of a 2018 Avanza car with plate B-2847-SOI and IDR 4 million in cash. The victim immediately made a police report to the Cinere Police after the incident.
