Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) maintains its position as the largest provider of people’s business credit (KUR) this year with an allocation of IDR 165 trillion.

For those interested in applying for a loan, below is information regarding the 2024 BRI KUR table along with the requirements and steps for applying.

Previously, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs had announced the 2024 KUR distribution target of IDR 300 trillion.

BRI received the largest allocation again with IDR 165 trillion, although it was lower than the previous year which reached IDR 194.4 trillion. In 2023, BRI will succeed in distributing KUR of IDR 163.3 trillion to 3.5 million debtors.

The majority of BRI KUR is channeled to the production sector, reaching a proportion of 57.38%. BRI Micro Business Director, Supari, emphasized the company’s commitment to achieving this target with mature infrastructure and new sources of growth through the Ultra Micro Ecosystem with Pegadaian and PNM.

BRI KUR consists of three types, namely BRI Bank Micro KUR, BRI Bank Small KUR, and BRI Bank TKI KUR. According to the company’s official website, BRI Micro KUR provides working capital and/or investment credit with a ceiling of up to IDR 50 million per debtor. Meanwhile, BRI Small KUR is a working capital and/or investment credit with a ceiling of above IDR 50 million to IDR 500 million per debtor.

For BRI TKI KUR, it is provided to finance the departure of prospective TKI to the placement country with a ceiling of up to IDR 25 million.

How to Apply for BRI KUR

BRI KUR can only be disbursed if the prospective customer meets the requirements set by the bank. Before applying, you must do the following:

  • Make sure that the business sector that will be submitted for KUR is a productive business and has prospects.
  • Prepare complete application documents, including identity cards, business legality, business permits, financial reports, business proposals, and other required documents.
  • Once the documents are complete, go to the registered channeling bank office.
  • Follow the procedures set by the bank, usually the bank will conduct a survey or interview to analyze the borrower’s eligibility.
  • Wait for the announcement from the channeling bank whether your application will be approved or not.

Requirements for Prospective BRI KUR Debtors

The following are details of the requirements for prospective KUR debtors according to type:

BANK BRI Micro KUR

  • Individuals (individuals) who run productive and viable businesses.
  • Have been active in business for at least 6 months.
  • Not currently accepting credit from banks except consumer credit such as KPR, KKB and Credit Cards.
  • Administrative requirements include identity, such as KTP, Family Card (KK), and business license.

BANK BRI Small KUR

  • Have a productive and viable business.
  • Not currently accepting credit from banks except consumer credit such as KPR, KKB and Credit Cards.
  • Have been active in business for at least 6 months.
  • Have a Micro and Small Business License (IUMK) or other equivalent business license.

KUR TKI BANK BRI

  • Individuals (individuals) prospective migrant workers who will work in the country of placement.
  • Administrative requirements in the form of identity, work agreements with service users, agreements
  • placement, passport, visa, and other requirements according to the provisions.

BRI KUR requirements

Here are the conditions for each type of KUR BRI:

BRI Bank Micro KUR

  • Maximum loan is IDR 50 million per debtor.
  • Loan types include Working Capital Credit (KMK) with a maximum loan period of 3 years and Investment Credit (KI) with a maximum loan period of 5 years.
  • Interest rate is 6% effective per year.
  • Free administration and provision fees.

BRI Bank Small KUR

  • Loans start from IDR 50 million to IDR 500 million.
  • Loan types include Working Capital Credit (KMK) with a maximum loan period of 4 years and Investment Credit (KI) with a maximum loan period of 5 years.
  • Interest rate is 6% effective per year.
  • Collateral in accordance with bank regulations.

KUR TKI Bank BRI

  • Maximum loan of IDR 25 million or based on provisions set by the government.
  • Interest rate is 6% effective per year.
  • Free administration and provision fees.
  • Maximum loan period 3 years or based on work contract.
  • Placements in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Brunei, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia.
